Slay Angels has submitted entries for 7 award categories for this year's FMPTA Awards. ( The Florida Motion Picture and Television Association) Including best of short film/video, leading actress, supporting actress, director and more.

The Crystal Reel Awards, created to honor outstanding achievement in the Motion Picture, Television and Recording Industries in the State of Florida, recognizes outstanding projects created in Florida.

The Crystal Reel Awards will be presented on Saturday September 12th 2009 in Plant City, Florida.

We used it for the very first time on a shoot last week where Scarlet wears the drop dead gorgeous purple dress and her Balboa Beach Bunny nail polish. Clenchfist adds their high energy music to Slay Angels!

Thanks to Chris Schenk we now have Clenchfist as a band featured in the series Slay Angels!!

Formed together in Florida, Clenchfist has created an original sound of high energy, melodic and hard rock music. Steve Bruno, vocals, Mike Fiumara ,drums and Greg Cooper, guitar are the founders of Clenchfist. Jerry Bruno, bass player. In only their SECOND show they won the High School Battle of the bands! Through the years, Clenchfist have been performing in bigger and bigger venues, and finally Clenchfist proved themselves by being awarded a slot at Livestock 15 in 2006! This was their biggest crowd ever with over 15,000 people! Clenchfist continues to climb the ladder of success playing at more national act concerts, taking the band to a new level of success.

Clenchfist released their debut album "Twenty Twelve" in October of 2006. Since then, the band has been playing nonstop with each show attracting more and more people.

Slay Angels is excited to be working with Chris Schenk and the band Clenchfist as we continue to film the series!!

Monster Taxi, Miami producer and keyboardist Jason Klein who has worked on recordings for several major and indie artists including Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Earth Wind & Fire, Jim Brickman and Beny More. He was also partnered with famed Brazilian DJ Grego.

Slay Angels welcomes Jennifer "Scarlet"!

Jennifer Ward was born and raised in Zephyrhills, FL. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2002. Acting has always been a dream of Jennifer's but was placed on the back burner to pursue more "realistic" goals. The suicide of her brother in late 2006 brought into sharp focus that she was wasting her life by not pursuing her true passion. Jennifer started acting classes in January 2007 at Art's Sake Studios in Winter Park, FL. In the span of nine months Jennifer completed six films and was nominated for an award at the completion of Core Film Acting at Art's Sake. Slay Angels will be her 18th project.

Nikki Cartier is Raine

Nikki has been performing as a dancer since the age of 7. She graduated Rhode Island College with a Bachelors Degree in Health Education and Dance, and has been a recipient of many awards for her choreography and dancing. Since then, Nikki has worked as a stunt performer, actor, and stunt rigger for Universal studios and has also performed with several dance companies in the Orlando area. She is a certified personal trainer and is also trained in several forms of combat. In addition, Nikki has acted in several commercials and independent films.

In her spare time Nikki works on developing her Fitness Company, Dream Bodies Fitness. She hopes to some day broaden her company and start a foundation for child abuse prevention. Nikki is ecstatic to begin her journey through her unyielding and noble character Raine on Slay Angels.
